Gapfy Riff overview

A customer reports that checkout stopped offering home delivery. With Riff you can find the change in Git, compare the affected files and prepare a fix for review. If the fix spans several repositories, Setlist brings the related reviews and unfinished work into one view.

Follow a change

  1. Install Riff and open a repository. Riff uses the Git installed on your computer. Choose Windows or macOS for Apple silicon on the downloads page.
  2. Find the commit and review the diff. Search the log, compare files side by side and stage the files that belong in the fix.
  3. Connect your Git host. Create a pull request or inspect an existing one. Use workspaces and Setlist to see which reviews are waiting on you.

When two branches change the same file

Resolve conflicts and recover a branch. Compare both versions, choose the result for each region and continue the operation. The guide also explains which local state a snapshot can restore after a rebase or reset.

Work to a team standard

Configure templates and naming conventions for branches, commits and pull requests. To understand adoption, check recent commit titles against the active rule and read the dated result in Maestro.

Riff also offers optional AI assistance for tasks such as explaining a diff or drafting a pull request. Each assist is off by default. You review the result and decide what to use.
