My Drive and sharing
My Drive is the file workspace in DocuVault. It combines personal and shared storage, folders, previews, versions and per-person permissions so a team can keep documents together without making the entire drive visible to everyone.
Organize personal and shared files
Use folders to give related documents a clear home. Files can belong to personal storage or shared work, allowing private material and team material to remain in the same product with an intentional boundary between them.
Upload by dragging and dropping files into the destination folder. Open the built-in preview after upload to verify the document without moving it to another app. Storage quotas are visible, which makes the available capacity part of the normal file workflow rather than a surprise after an upload.
Share per person
Sharing is granted to individual people with permissions selected for each recipient. Choose only the people who need the file and give each one the access appropriate to their work. A shared document does not require granting access to the rest of My Drive.
Review permissions when someone's responsibility changes. Per-person control lets the team change one person's access without redefining the audience for everyone else.
Keep versions with the file
DocuVault retains versions as a file changes. This keeps the document's earlier states connected to the same item instead of spreading revisions across filenames and folders.
PDF work performed with Fill and Sign also saves directly back to DocuVault as a versioned export. Those exports include a SHA-256 integrity manifest and preserve digital signatures that were already present. The editor workflow is covered in the PDF editor guide.
Recover deleted work
Deleted files go to the recycle bin. Use it when a document was removed by mistake and needs to be recovered. The recycle bin provides a recovery path without treating a normal deletion as the immediate loss of the file.
Find files by subject
AI auto-tagging is available with a Pro AI seat. It assigns keywords to files automatically so search can surface a document based on what it is about, not only on the exact filename.
Auto-tagging supports retrieval; it does not replace the folder structure, sharing permissions or the team's responsibility to verify that the selected file is correct. Keep names and folders clear, then use generated keywords as another way to find the work.
Continue working with the document
Once a file is organized, you can edit a PDF, send it for signature, or collect invoices for the accountant portal. Each workflow returns the document or final record to DocuVault so the file remains connected to its storage, versions and permissions.
