Saving tabs and sessions

Capture is where Harmony earns its keep. Every path below ends the same way: the page becomes a link card in a collection, synced to all your devices.

Save the tab you are on

Use the extension's save action to file the current tab into a collection. At save time, Harmony checks for duplicates and tells you which collection already has the URL, so you never save the same page twice by accident.

Save all open tabs

When a research session leaves you with a wall of tabs, save all of them in one action instead of picking through them one by one. File them now, close the browser guilt free, and sort them properly later.

Snapshot a whole session

You can also snapshot an entire browser session. This is the safety net for the "I need all of this, just not right now" moment: capture everything, close the window, and come back to it when you are ready.

Right-click to file a page or link

Right-click any page to save it without leaving what you are reading. You can also right-click a link on a page to file it directly, without opening it first.

Keyboard shortcuts

Two shortcuts cover the daily loop:

• Ctrl+Shift+S saves the current page to your last-used collection.
• Ctrl+Shift+H opens the dashboard.

Because Ctrl+Shift+S reuses your last-used collection, a run of related pages files itself into the right place with one keystroke each.

Import Chrome tab groups

If you already organize tabs with Chrome tab groups, import them into Harmony so the grouping you built in the tab strip becomes something permanent and searchable.

The new-tab dashboard and side panel

Two optional extension features keep Harmony in view while you browse:

• The new-tab dashboard replaces your new-tab page with your Harmony dashboard, so every new tab starts from your own library.
• The Chrome side panel shows your links alongside the page you are on, which is handy when you are working through a collection.

Both are optional, so your browser only changes as much as you want it to.

Where saved pages land

Every saved page becomes a rich link card with its favicon, an Open Graph preview image where the site provides one, and visit tracking. Choose from four card sizes to fit your style. To organize what you have captured, head to Spaces and collections.
